Welcome to Eta Chapter

Welcome to the Eta Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity at the University of Illinois. We are pleased you are interested to learn more about our organization and our history. Whether you are a prospective new member, a current active, an alumnus, a parent, or just a casual visitor, our intent here is to share information about who we are, what we believe as an organization, and how we interact with our campus community and the broader world.

We have been a vital part of the University of Illinois campus community since our founding as a local fraternity in 1919. We were charted as the Eta Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho on February 21, 1921. In the intervening years, more than 1,200 young men have been initiated into our brotherhood.

Our open motto is “Honor Super Omnia,” which stands for “Honor Above all Things.” Our expectation of our members is that they be ΚΔΡ gentlemen.

We share useful information about our history, our organization, our structure, and the benefits of membership within this site. We encourage you to take a few moments to look around and get to know us. If you have further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
